Quite possibly the best Pork Belly Sunday roast in a long time.

Today's Outfit

After a long day at the beach soaking up the sun it's time for some Yum Cha.  Dumplings are my weak spot!  (Going to attempt to make them next week) Hope your all having a fantastic long Easter weekend and are eating your body weight in chocolate.

My outfit today, simple and chilled: Coral Jumper - Zara, Shorts - ASOS.

OOTW

So I haven't been holding up my end of this promise where I said I would take better quality photos for my OOTW posts and not just in front of the mirror. Oops.  My excuse; really bad weather at the moment and a busy bee.  I have a few afternoons/evenings this week where I hope to venture out and get snap happy and have a change of scenery for you guys.

* Top - Topshop
* Clutch - ASOS
* Shorts - Zara

Yes more purchases, I know.  I had been waiting for the top to arrive for three weeks from Topshop, which was a little annoying.  But anyway first world problems and all that.
It arrived and I love it.  Every shop I went into today asked me where it was from and said how much they loved it.  If your heading to a Topshop grab one and try it on, it also comes in blue which is too gorgeous.
The clutch which is from ASOS is my new obsession.  It's big so can fit all your essentials in it and adds a pop of colour to an outfit. (I think the pattern is suppose to be like cogs, correct me if I'm wrong)
It's also a laser clutch so the black parts have all been cut out and that is the under section.

* Nicole by OPI - Shell me the truth
Finally is the polish.  This caught my eye as I was racing past the shop front like a mad woman.  The colour in the bottle is true to the colour on the nail.  Under different light it shows up gold, salmon pink and a spot of purple.  The above photo is with just one layer but have since added another and it looks even more dazzling.

OOTW

The weather this week has been all over the place that I didn't know what to wear in the morning as by the afternoon it could be pouring or scorching.  Monday and Tuesday was so hot and so humid. 34 degrees in the city would be fine normally, but when Mr Humidity decides to mess with your day it is insanely uncomfortable.
Everyone in the CBD was dashing around into air conditioned shops or walking as slow as possible so not to break out in what would look like a menopausal sweat!
Today it's grey, dreary and raining on and off.
For heading into the shops on my day off I decided to rock a new blazer I bought from Zara this week.  It is so soft and comfortable it felt like I had had it for months and moulded to my body so well.

Blazer - Zara $89.99

Sorry about the unimpressed look!

Have a busy weekend ahead.  Going to a Pasta making cooking class on Saturday which I'm really looking forward too.  I will try and take some photos if I can but will probably be covered in flour!
I'll then finally be able to tell my Italian side of the family that I can now make my own pasta from scratch, which I'm sure they will be thrilled about!
Followed by a pampering day on Sunday getting a mani/pedi and a spot of lunch with a friend.

OOTD

This is my first ever outfit of the day.  A little nervous doing this, not really sure why but here it goes...

*Shorts - Zara
*Blouse - Sportsgirl

Now I'm going to be honest.  I am not going to be one of those dedicated people who are able to shoot a different outfit every day.  I work (and those clothes are not the most riveting clothes to see) and when I'm not working I'm usually kicking it in shorts (like the ones above) and a singlet or tee.  I am uber casual.

Ok so to the outfit.  The shorts are my new love and I am wearing these heaps at the moment and they are so comfortable.  They are from Zara and were in the sale.  I had been eyeing them up for a while and jumped at the chance when I saw the big sale sticker on them.  I can't remember the exact price but think they were down to around $35ish.
The blouse is a purchase I made this week from Sportgirl.  It's covered it hundreds of cute little stars and is slightly longer at the back of the top.  Now for the price (a little on the hefty side but I did got paid this week) was at $89.99.  I know I know but I couldn't resist.  It's adorable right?

I am going to try and attempt to do one OOTF or FOTD a week and I will see how I get on with it.  Fingers crossed!

Christmas Goodies

Here is a quick look at some of the presents I got for Christmas along with some photos from Christmas Day.

Nail polish stand - though need a bigger one!

Panettone

I hope you all had as good a day as I did.  With this being my fourth Aussie Christmas I am starting to miss having a cold one.  Maybe next year!

Willpower

My new name is now Miss No Willpower!  I have none, it has officially left the building and ran away.  Today however was a good day.  I spent.  And it was money that I don't really have.  Do I feel guilty....not really!
I decided to have a bit of a change and go into the city,  I haven't been in for a while and was due a visit to Zara.  Early morning is the best time to go, especially into Zara as it's heaps quieter.

After a slow mooch around I was a little disappointed that I didn't really find anything that caught my eye, but of course as I'm leaving I stumble across a table with pretty things on them.  I grab two pairs of pants and then see some shorts.  I'm hop-skip into the fitting rooms.  The pants were awesome but I wasn't too sure how they looked (i needed a second opinion) the shorts however were even better.  I decided to leave the pants.
I mean I can always go back and get them next week right?!
While at the check out I get sidetracked and start smelling all the purfumes. Bam.  Another purchase.  As I am leave I am feeling quite content.  After about an hour I discover the TRF section of Zara that I completely forgot about, hidden downstairs.  It was so quiet in there I could properly look around which was great.
Strike two.  I purchase a blue dress.  What is wrong with me!!

I then head back to Bondi to meet a friend for lunch.  Followed by another look around the shops.  She tired on some gorgeous things but said the one word I can't when it comes to clothes or make-up. No!
After she goes I cave again.  I blame it on the glorious sunshine we had today messing with my head.
I remembered that a new MAC store had opened and I did need to get something from there.

The new winter collection is gorgeous.  There are some fantastic eye shadows that come in a snow dome glitter compact which looked amazing.
I ended up buying the above.  This is the best glitter nail polish I have ever had.  I hate the ones you have to paint about four/five coats on to get a good even glitter effect.  With this you could even paint one and be happy with it.  The sparkles are a nice size, not too big or too small.
It's name: Unconditionally Fabulous.  And it certainly is.

Everyone has to go and buy this little gem.

The item I actually needed was this.  MAC's Brow Set to keep those pesky eyebrows in shape and not get any rebel hairs that want to break out.

Other purchases over the past few days include...

Benefit's Erase Paste - Medium 2
Revlon nail polish - Girly (the MAC polish looks amazing over this)

The Revlon polish is really pretty.  A silver/lilac metallic colour.  If I had to think of a colour to do with space and the moon, it would be this!  It dries to nearly a matte.

Oh yes I almost forgot the Zara purchases.  So as followed, the Zara purfume.  Now I'm always a bit funny about buying shops own perfume.  I've never thought they smell that nice until today when I was put in my place.  This is Fresia.  It smells divine.  It's not too over powering and smells so fruity and a flirty fragrance, perfect for summer.

Also how beautiful is the illustration on the box.
Finally here is the dress and shorts.  Now I know they look silly hung up and on the bed but as soon as I can do an outfit of the day I will.  The shorts are a gorgeous tailored fit and I fell in love with the colour (The pants I was going to get were also a similar shade)  So much blue!
The dress is fitted on the bust with a tulip skirt.  It's so pretty on.  Gorgeous with a tan and great for casual days or a evening event.

I'm going to try and refrain to buy too much stuff for myself now and focus on getting Christmas presents ticked off.  That saying I did order a MAC lipstick the other day.  Someone take my cards away from me!
