Today's Outfit

I am obsessed with my new mint lace blazer.  Not one to blow my own trumpet but it does look fab on.  It's from ASOS and I'm pretty sure there were matching pants as well as shorts and maybe even a skirt if your lucky.
 Here is the link.  Go check them out.

Today's Outfit

After a long day at the beach soaking up the sun it's time for some Yum Cha.  Dumplings are my weak spot!  (Going to attempt to make them next week) Hope your all having a fantastic long Easter weekend and are eating your body weight in chocolate.

My outfit today, simple and chilled: Coral Jumper - Zara, Shorts - ASOS.

Every Day Foundation

I'm back with what seems like a forever away from the blogging world.  I have missed you.  Reason for being M.I.A - new job and insane long hours.  Weekends are now my only time to catch up with Youtube and other fellow bloggers.

I wanted to do a quick ramble on my current foundation obsession.  It's a mixture of two foundations which really balance each other out rather well.

The first foundation is Shiseido Sun Protection Liquid Foundation.  This is like a little miracle in a bottle.  Not only is it SPF 30+ it is also 80 minutes water resistant.  So come rain, sweat or sea this bad boy will not budge. How amazing.
I've been wearing this foundation for over a month now and I couldn't rate it more.  Once applied and after a 10 hour day at work, followed by drinks and dinner in the evening my foundation looks as if it has just been applied with a fresh glowing look.
The only down side to the foundation is that it only comes in seven shades.  The MUA matched me with the shade SPF70 which I was a little shocked about as it's the darkest colour there, but when swatched it matched perfectly.  I will have to get a lighter shade for winter otherwise I will be an oompa lumpa!

I use my Real Techniques buffing brush and it blends it in like a dream.

Shiseido on the left, Lord & Berry on the right.

The other foundation I actually came across on ASOS.  It's a cream foundation by Lord & Berry.  After getting Shiseido's Foundation which was dark and rather runny, I wanted another foundation that I could mix with it.
I haven't tried it by itself as it's a little too light for my skin tone at the moment so maybe by winter I will give it a go on it's own.  As for the foundation itself.  It only comes in four shades which is ridiculous.  However it has a great creamy texture and is so smooth when applied to the skin.  I'm not sure what shade I got as it's not on the box or bottle, only the number 8620 which is frustrating.

Mixing these two together has worked wonders for me and it photographs well even with the SPF 30+ included.
If your looking for a foundation that is like a second skin and a new best friend I would highly recommend Shiseido's Sun Protection foundation.  Especially for all those people in the Northern Hemisphere who are heading into Spring/Summer this will be perfect for you.  The price is a little steep but in my eyes worth every penny.

Today's Outfit

 First outfit of the day in a long time I'm sorry.

Today I am wearing: TopTopshop, Flare Jeans - ASOS, Shoes - Betts, ClutchSabo Skirt

Bracelet - Dotti

Was going to venture outside for these little snaps but the rain on my parade.  Autumn has arrived with it's scarf and jumper on. Brrrr...

OOTW

So I haven't been holding up my end of this promise where I said I would take better quality photos for my OOTW posts and not just in front of the mirror. Oops.  My excuse; really bad weather at the moment and a busy bee.  I have a few afternoons/evenings this week where I hope to venture out and get snap happy and have a change of scenery for you guys.

* Top - Topshop
* Clutch - ASOS
* Shorts - Zara

Yes more purchases, I know.  I had been waiting for the top to arrive for three weeks from Topshop, which was a little annoying.  But anyway first world problems and all that.
It arrived and I love it.  Every shop I went into today asked me where it was from and said how much they loved it.  If your heading to a Topshop grab one and try it on, it also comes in blue which is too gorgeous.
The clutch which is from ASOS is my new obsession.  It's big so can fit all your essentials in it and adds a pop of colour to an outfit. (I think the pattern is suppose to be like cogs, correct me if I'm wrong)
It's also a laser clutch so the black parts have all been cut out and that is the under section.

* Nicole by OPI - Shell me the truth
 Finally is the polish.  This caught my eye as I was racing past the shop front like a mad woman.  The colour in the bottle is true to the colour on the nail.  Under different light it shows up gold, salmon pink and a spot of purple.  The above photo is with just one layer but have since added another and it looks even more dazzling.

OOTW

One of my outfits from this week.  Yes I was wearing boots in the middle of summer.  It was Australia Day Eve and we were on our way to a BBQ and we were in the middle of a tropical rain storm, so boots were a necessity!

Also again a shoddy photo, my bad.  It was literally two minutes before we dashed out into the rain so was another super quick shot.  Will do better next time I promise.

These boots are my new obsession.  They are so comfortable to wear and sych soft leather.  The heel on them is a great height so they are perfect for during the day or dressing up in the evening.

* Tee - Country Road
* Jeans - ASOS
* Boots - Bertie ASOS

I have this tee in white also, they are so easy to wear I'm tempted to go buy another, plus they are currently in the sale.
Hope your all having a good week.  It's the weekend here and the sun looks like it will be shining on the weekend. B.E.A.C.H.

OOTW

Here we have it, my second outfit post. I am actually quite enjoying doing these even though this is my second!  But it's making me explore my wardrobe a little more and rekindle my love for bits I had ashamedly forgotten about.
The past few weeks/months have been so hectic. This weekend seeing off my Dad and Step Mum who were here for a week are now avid Sydney fans.  So with a few days rest coming up then I'll be back into the job hunting/applying and hitting the gym like a maniac.  Detox here I come.

The sun has had it's hat on all this week with amazing sunshine and the brightest blues skies. I decided to spruce up one of my outfits to go along with this glorious weather.

* Blouse - ASOS
* Dress - Primark

The blouse is a recent purchase from ASOS.  I seem to be going through a fortnightly splurge every time I get paid and this was one of them (along with some dupe Allegra booties - see photo below)
The blouse has printed black panthers all over it and I love it.  It also looks fab tucked into skinny black jeans.  The dress is a beautiful teal colour which I actually bought when I was back in the UK last year from Primark.  It cost me around twelve pounds (bargain) and all I get is compliments on how lovely it looks.
I do find Primark a bit hit and miss and always seem to get a little panicked when in there due to how jam packed everything is in the stores, but you can find some little gems from near to nothing.

For the evening I shed the blouse and teamed the dress with my new envelope clutch which I bought from the gorgeous girls at Sabo Skirt. (*Note I didn't wear the boots with this outfit. Instead a beautiful pair of gold sandals)

Don't get me wrong I am loving the beautiful weather at the moment but a part of me is wanting Autumn to slowly creep in so I can start wearing all my boots again and light layers.

Still I am a summer girl at heart and am enjoying every gorgeous day as it comes.
